Baptist Southbank is currently hiring for a PRN Days Patient Access Representative II to join our Pediatric Outpatient Rehab Services Department in the Jacksonville, FL area. Coverage support is expected to include multiple Wolfson Children's Hospital outpatient clinics, including South (Mandarin area, Duval County), Clay (Fleming Island area, Clay County), and Nocatee (Ponte Vedra area, St. Johns County)
Shift Details: PRN, providing supplemental coverage (as needed) for team members utilizing time off and leave. Hours would be Day shift and scheduled Monday through Friday (no weekends).
The Patient Access Representative II will support outpatient clinic teams for Wolfson Children's Hospital. This position is in a patient-facing clinic environment. In this position they will be taking full ownership of the tasks related to this position and provides successful outcomes that will enhance the reputation of Baptist Health and ensures a first positive impression from a patient experience perspective.Â
As a Patient Access Representative II, you will be responsible for:
Registering patients accurately and efficiently
Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annuallyÂ
Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Education & Credential Requirements:
High school diploma (or higher) Required
