Advisory Services Specialist
Job Summary:
The Advisory Services Specialist will work closely with our advisors and their teams to assist with the day-to-day fee-based advisory operations needs such as fee-billing, liaising with third-party asset managers and custodians, the disbursement and deposit of funds, and account setup and support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with our advisors and their teams in the opening and maintenance of fee-based advisory accounts, including client billing and advisor compensation.
- Work with our custodian and third-party asset managers on critical tasks such as account setup and funding.
- Review and monitor fee-based advisory accounts to ensure timely investment of assets, feebilling, and disbursement of funds.
- Serve as liaison with external billing teams and the Finance Department on all advisory feebilling matters.
- Collaborate with our Trading Services team and third-party asset managers on all trading inquiries, including the reconciliation of trade corrections.
- Work with other home office teams to assist with supporting the firm’s advisor-directed advisory program.

- Intelecctually curious and open-minded, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information effectively.
- Patient with exceptional client service skills and ability to resolve operational issues.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience working with Orion is preferred.
- Low-code/Microsoft Power Automate experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with SEC and FINRA rules and regulations.
Education and/or Work Experience:
- Minimum Work Experience Required: 3+ years of experience in financial services; specifically, fee-based investment advisory.
- Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Work Environment:
This position requires the ability to work in a stationary position for several hours at a time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Some filing is required. The work environment is an airconditioned, smoke-free, office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
