Overview

Enterprise Mobility's Corporate Legal Group has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Counsel to join our Litigation and Corporate Records team. In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice and practical business counsel across a broad range of litigation, contested matters, regulatory investigations, and risk management issues affecting a global organization.

As a trusted advisor, you will partner with business leaders, functional teams, and legal colleagues to evaluate legal risk, develop effective resolution strategies, and support key business objectives. You will also have opportunities to contribute to initiatives involving Enterprise Mobility's intellectual property portfolio and other strategic legal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders as a trusted advisor on litigation, regulatory, and risk management matters, providing strategic legal guidance that enables sound business decision-making.
  • Direct all phases of complex litigation, administrative proceedings, and regulatory investigations, including case assessment, strategy development, discovery oversight, settlement evaluation, and trial preparation.
  • Develop and execute litigation and dispute-resolution strategies in collaboration with outside counsel and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Identify emerging legal and regulatory risks and advise leadership on proactive measures to mitigate exposure and strengthen compliance.
  • Support organization-wide initiatives through legal analysis, training, policy development, and implementation of best practices.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel and other service providers, overseeing performance, legal spend, and successful outcomes.
  • Exercise sound legal and business judgment in evaluating risks, protecting company interests, and supporting long-term organizational success.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to at least one state Bar in the United States
  • Seven plus (7+) years of legal experience in a business law firm or in a corporate law department with a proven record of professional excellence and achievement
  • Demonstrated success managing complex commercial and consumer litigation, regulatory investigations, class action, multi-district, and other high-risk matters
  • Proven ability to develop litigation strategy, work effectively with outside counsel, assess legal risk, and achieve favorable business outcomes
  • Previous experience using Westlaw
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
