Description
The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing administrative support to ensure the office runs smoothly. This role requires a professional, customer-focused individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities, maintain an organized office environment, and support various departments as needed.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors with a friendly, welcoming attitude and assist with directing guests to meeting areas.
- Answer and route incoming calls through a multi-line phone system.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and package deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area, conference rooms, and common areas.
- Order and restock office and kitchen supplies.
- Coordinate lunches, meetings, and other office events as needed.
- Assist with preparing new hire welcome materials and onboarding kits.
- Support marketing and HR initiatives by assembling, organizing, and shipping materials.
- Coordinate shipments through carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service experience.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
