Crusher Plant Operator

Job Summary**

Operate and maintain crushing and screening equipment to produce aggregates according to specifications at Heidelberg Materials NE LLC.

Job Responsibilities**

* Operate various types of crushing equipment, including jaw, cone, and impact crushers, and associated screening plants.
* Monitor equipment performance, gauges, and material flow to ensure optimal production and quality control.
* Perform pre-shift inspections, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on plant machinery.
* Adjust equipment settings as needed to meet production targets and material specifications.
* Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as front-end loaders or excavators.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment around the plant.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with plant management and other team members regarding operational issues or concerns.
* Complete daily production reports and maintenance logs accurately.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Proven experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in a quarry or aggregate production environment.
* Knowledge of crushing and screening plant operations and maintenance.
* Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
* Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
* Valid driver's license preferred.
