Why we need you:

As a Mix and Blend Operator, you play a vital role in our manufacturing process by accurately mixing and blending ingredients according to the Master Batch Record. Your precision and attention to detail ensure that our products meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.

A Day in the life:

  • Clean-in-Place (CIP) lines and equipment using the correct chemicals and concentrations as per the required schedule.
  • Understand and manage the piping setups for both product manufacturing and CIP processes, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
  • Strictly adhere to the Master Batch Record for mixing and blending operations.
  • Monitor product temperature (Critical Control Point, CCP) for ingredient blends.
  • Assist maintenance personnel with the calibration of metering equipment.
  • Report equipment concerns or issues to Plant Management or maintenance personnel.
  • Comprehend the production schedule, tankage needs, and the sequence of production as determined by Plant Management.
  • Prepare the work area for the subsequent shift.
  • Be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts, including more than 40 hours per week when necessary.
  • Comply with plant rules and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to quality system requirements and food safety regulations.
  • Meet all food safety, quality, and customer requirements for the position.


Requirements: 

  • Availability to work a 3rd shift Schedule 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Forklift License (company will provide).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in food production, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards is beneficial.

Working Relationships:

You will work alongside other Mix and Blend Operators and report to Plant Management, ensuring smooth operations and cooperation with other departments.

You may occasionally guide or train new team members or provide support to other operators.


To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the employee must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
  • Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Operate machinery and tools requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
  • Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels in a production environment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
