Hours: 20-25 hrs per week (8 am - 2 pm)

Whether you're sorting donations, preparing merchandise for wholesale, or helping keep our warehouse running smoothly, every task you complete helps create a cleaner, more efficient operation that supports individuals and communities across Iowa.

What You'll Do
Every day is a little different, but your responsibilities may include:
- Sort donated merchandise by quality, category, and seasonal relevance.
- Identify and separate high-value items for additional review.
- Prepare products for baling, loading, and shipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the day.
- Move materials, cardboard, and trash to designated areas.
- Assist with product flow to keep operations running efficiently.
- Report supply needs and equipment concerns to leadership.
- Maintain quality standards while completing work accurately and efficiently.
- Support other departments, including direct support services, when needed.

- Can adapt to changing priorities and busy production days.
- Is dependable and values strong attendance.
- Communicates professionally and respectfully with coworkers.
- Can follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
Previous warehouse, production, stockroom, or retail backroom experience is helpful-but not required. We'll provide the training you need to be successful.
Physical Requirements
This position is active throughout the day and may require:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving donated merchandise.
- Working safely in a warehouse and production environment.
- Working flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
