JOB TITLE:                         Team Leader (Captain) Night Shift

REPORTS TO:                    Department Manager

SHIFT DAYS / HOURS:    Week 1: Monday through Wednesday
                                               Week 2: Monday through Thursday
                                               6 pm – 6 am
 

Bonnell Aluminum is looking for an individual to join our Precision Parts team.


What You’ll Be Responsible For:

•    Ensure timely processing and accuracy of machine parts per customer’s request
•    Managing a team of machine operators
•    Measuring parts to customer expectations
•    Assist or perform set-ups on CNC machines
•    Assist department engineer and facilitator in identifying potential problems and areas of improvement
•    Manage & conduct safety training.
•    Understanding or ability to calculate speeds and feeds
•    Driving process adherence
•    Maintain accurate inventories through cycle counts & inventory adjustments. 
•    Know basic shop floor programming on CNC machines, 
•    Ability to inspire others to work efficiently, defuse conflict and make good decisions.
•    Ability to coach, develop and lead production employees.
•    Communicating needs between various departments.

 

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Job Requirements:

•    English required; Bilingual (Spanish) helpful
•    Blueprint reading skills.
•    Ability to delegate and anticipate needs of the department and employees.
•    Work closely with design engineers, salesmen, & customer service representatives.
•    Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
•    Strong problem solving and advanced math skills. 
•    Ability to communicate effectively with team members. 
•    Ability to efficiently use a computer, including programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
•    Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
•    Team player with leadership skills.
•    Excellent inspection skills.
