Regional Manager of School Bus Operations

 Job Type: Full-time 

Travel: Up to 50% to locations on a regular basis

The Fullington Auto Bus Company is seeking a Regional Manager of School Bus Operations to oversee safe, efficient transportation services across multiple school districts. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations, and maintaining effective relationships with school administrators, staff, parents, and students. The Regional Manager will also attend school board meetings and support business growth by identifying and pursuing new school bus contract opportunities.

Responsibilities:

· Provide leadership and direction for location managers, drivers and staff, aligned with school district priorities and objectives.

· Ensure compliance with federal and state transportation regulations and proper maintenance of all records.

· Manage operational performance, policies, and service standards.

· Develop and recommend policies, procedures and training programs for the school bus division.

· Collaborate with school districts to enhance safety and service quality.

· Attend school board meetings across various districts serviced by Fullington.

· Identify and pursue new school bus contract opportunities.

· Utilize technology to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

· 4+ years of transportation operations experience

· 2–4 years of leadership or supervisory experience

· CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements, or ability to obtain within 6 months

· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

· Excellent driving record
