Overview: Systems Implementers, Inc. (SI) is seeking a technical documentation analyst to support an effort focused on enterprise architecture documentation, system analysis, and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifact development. This role will support the creation, maintenance, and refinement of architecture products that describe system capabilities, data relationships, operational processes, and target-state environments.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical communicator who can work with system owners, subject matter experts, analysts, and technical teams to gather information and translate it into clear, structured architecture documentation. This position does not require the candidate to serve as the overall enterprise architect, but it does require the ability to understand technical and operational concepts and document them accurately using established architecture frameworks and standards.  This is a position that requires a Secret Clearance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain required enterprise architecture artifacts, including DoDAF-based views and supporting documentation
  • Work with subject matter experts, system analysts, and technical teams to gather information on systems, interfaces, data flows, business processes, and operational capabilities
  • Translate complex technical and operational information into clear, consistent, and reviewable architecture products
  • Ensure architecture artifacts accurately represent current and target-state systems, processes, data relationships, and operational views
  • Support architecture reviews, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions
  • Maintain consistency across system, data, operational, and capability views
  • Help identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas needing clarification across architecture documentation
  • Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise standards, project requirements, and government/customer expectations
  • Support the organization and configuration control of architecture-related documentation and artifacts

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 3 years of experience; or 6+ years of experience in documentation
  • Secret Clearance required
  • Experience developing or maintaining technical documentation, system documentation, architecture artifacts, or business process documentation
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and accurately
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather, validate, and organize information
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, system views, data flows, interfaces, or operational process documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple documents or artifacts
  • Ability to support reviews, incorporate feedback, and maintain version-controlled documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio or similar diagramming tools
  • U.S. Citizen
