ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans all common room areas including restrooms, kitchens, lobbies and breakrooms
- Responds to any major spills or other cleaning crises
- Cleans entryway glass and surrounding surfaces. Glass to be free of streaks, smears and fingerprints/handprints
- Sweeps and mops floors as necessary
- Completes minor repairs and building improvements
- Prepares conference rooms before and after important meetings
- Removes litter and rubbish from main common rooms and exterior of facility
- When applicable, places safety hazard signs in the building (i.e. wet paint, wet floor signs)
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies and waiting rooms, restrooms, stairways, parking lots, grounds and other work areas
- Assists in receiving and delivering packages received
- Maintains inventory controls on maintenance supplies, cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assists in monitoring all work performed by outside contractors
- Special projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff and the public
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures, perform duties in a professional manner
- Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner
- Must be reliable and professional
