Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our hospital in Clearwater, FL. As a family-owned veterinary hospital, we offer advanced and specialized veterinary services to our guests and referring veterinarians. The Emergency Vet Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to pets in emergency situations. With the support of our experienced team, you will have the opportunity to utilize and expand your skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with emergency triage and stabilize critically ill or injured animals
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, such as blood work, radiographs, and ultrasounds
  • Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Provide post-operative care and monitoring to surgical patients
  • Communicate effectively with the veterinary team and pet owners, providing updates on patient status and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician with experience as an Emergency Veterinary Technician preferred
