At FlyUSA, we provide private aviation solutions for missions where reliability, speed, precision, and communication are critical. Position Summary
The Medical & Organ Transplant Charter Sales Advisor will be responsible for developing new medical aviation business while serving as a trusted point of contact for clients requiring highly coordinated, time-sensitive air charter solutions.
You will work closely with FlyUSA's operations, client services, and aircraft operator partners to coordinate missions from initial request through completion. Whether supporting the movement of patients, organs, or medical personnel you will be expected to communicate clearly, move quickly, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
This position is ideal for a highly driven aviation sales professional who understands that success in medical aviation is built on responsiveness, reliability, relationships, and trust.

Core Responsibilities

  • Medical Aviation Business Development: Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with transplant centers, organ procurement organizations (OPOs), hospitals and health systems, patients, medical transportation providers, and other healthcare partners requiring time-critical aviation services.
  • Organ & Transplant Mission Support: Respond rapidly to requests involving organ recovery teams, transplant personnel, organs and human tissue, and other time-sensitive medical movements while coordinating closely with FlyUSA's operational teams.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted aviation resource for healthcare and transplant clients, developing long-term relationships built around responsiveness, reliability, transparency, and operational execution.
  • Charter Sourcing & Coordination: Work with FlyUSA's operations team and aircraft operator network to identify appropriate aircraft and transportation solutions based on mission requirements, timing, routing, payload, airport access, and operational considerations.
  • 24/7 Mission Responsiveness: Understand the around-the-clock nature of transplant and medical aviation and be prepared to support urgent opportunities and client needs outside traditional business hours when required.
  • Proactive Sales: Build and manage a pipeline of prospective medical aviation clients through research, outbound calls, email outreach, referrals, networking, industry events, and existing relationships.
  • Mission-Critical Communication: Maintain clear, accurate, and timely communication with clients and internal teams throughout each mission, particularly when schedules, aircraft availability, weather, airport conditions, or other operational factors change.
  • Healthcare Industry Relationship Development: Establish FlyUSA as a trusted aviation partner within the transplant and healthcare communities by developing relationships with transplant administrators, coordinators, procurement professionals, transportation teams, executives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Operator & Vendor Relationships: Develop strong relationships with aircraft operators and transportation partners capable of supporting specialized medical and transplant missions.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed records of prospects, opportunities, client activity, mission history, and follow-up requirements while building a scalable portfolio of medical aviation accounts.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed established revenue and gross profit goals through new client acquisition, account development, repeat missions, and strategic relationship management.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3–5+ Years of Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in aviation charter sales, medical transportation, healthcare business development, logistics, or another highly responsive B2B sales environment.
  • Mission-Critical Mindset: Ability to remain composed, accurate, responsive, and solution-oriented when coordinating urgent and rapidly changing requests.
  • Strong Business Development Skills: Proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, build relationships with decision-makers, and develop opportunities into long-term clients.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with healthcare professionals, aviation operators, internal teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • High Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple active requests while maintaining accuracy across schedules, passenger information, airports, aircraft requirements, pricing, and other mission details.
  • Availability & Responsiveness: Understanding that medical and transplant aviation operates around the clock and that urgent missions may require communication outside normal business hours.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable working with CRM platforms. Familiarity with Avinode, FlightAware, FlightRadar24, and ADS-B Exchange is a plus.
  • Negotiation & Commercial Judgment: Ability to balance speed, aircraft availability, client requirements, pricing, and margin while developing solutions appropriate for time-sensitive missions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in organ transplant aviation, medical charter, air ambulance, critical-care transportation, or time-sensitive aviation logistics.
  • Existing relationships within the transplant, OPO, hospital, healthcare, or medical transportation communities.
  • Experience selling private aviation or aircraft charter services.
  • Familiarity with the operational requirements associated with transporting transplant teams, medical personnel, organs, human tissue, specimens, or other time-sensitive medical materials.
