Packaging & Retail Designer

Full-Time | In-Office (Clearwater, FL)

Zulay Kitchen is growing beyond e-commerce and into retail — and we’re looking for a Packaging & Retail Designer to help bring our products to life on shelves across the country.

This is more than a traditional packaging design role. You’ll help shape how Zulay Kitchen products look, feel, and stand out in the retail environment, from the package sitting on a shelf to the displays and presentations that get buyers excited about carrying our products.

You’ll combine creative thinking, strong design skills, and an understanding of retail to create packaging systems, 3D product visualizations, displays, and wholesale materials that are both beautiful and commercially effective.

What You’ll Do

Packaging Design

• Design primary and secondary packaging for Zulay Kitchen products
• Develop efficient, scalable packaging systems across multiple SKUs
• Create packaging that is visually compelling while remaining practical and cost-conscious
• Ensure packaging meets retailer requirements and wholesale compliance standards
• Maintain a consistent Zulay Kitchen brand experience across all packaging

Product Mockups & 3D Visualization

• Create high-quality product and packaging mockups for presentations and internal development
• Develop realistic 3D packaging concepts for retail sell-in
• Produce 3D renderings showing products in stores, on shelves, and in merchandising environments
• Create visual prototypes and concept mockups to support new product development

Retail & Wholesale Design

• Design PDQs, shelf trays, endcaps, and other in-store display solutions
• Create shelving mockups and retail layout concepts for different store formats
• Develop packaging and display systems designed specifically for wholesale and retail environments
• Create cohesive visual solutions that help Zulay Kitchen stand out at retail

Wholesale Branding & Buyer Presentations

• Design polished presentation decks for retail buyers and wholesale partners
• Create compelling visual storytelling that helps bring products and retail concepts to life
• Develop materials that support retail sell-in and new account opportunities
• Ensure packaging, displays, presentations, and other wholesale assets feel cohesive and on-brand
• Collaborate with the wholesale and design teams to support Zulay Kitchen’s retail expansion

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in packaging, retail, consumer products, or brand design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and/or retail design work
• Experience creating 3D mockups, product visualizations, or retail environments
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, branding, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to design with both creativity and practicality in mind
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for polished, professional work
• Ability to take a concept from initial idea through final production-ready artwork
• Comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with retail displays, PDQs, shelf-ready packaging, or wholesale presentations is a major plus
