Job Summary:

Our Manufacturing Liaison Technician - Order Entry/Tracker (MLT - OE/Tracker)  are Customer Obsessed and problem solvers, strong in data entry, and ideally have a background in a production environment. Our Employees understand how to consistently exceed expectations and deliver.  We are doing whatever we can to resolve a customer’s issue. This is the Liaison between our internal departments, Customer Service and Manufacturing. Manufacturing Liaison Technicians believe in taking ownership of the situation and seeing it through until resolved!  

 

Our ideal Manufacturing Liaison Technician candidate would posses the the following skills:

  • Troubleshoot basic and routine customer issues
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly  

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the link between manufacturing, customer service and the customer to help facilitate orders with inquiries and product changes
  • Clarify and communicate order changes with customer regarding product information, ship/delivery dates and order costs
  • Continuously review and update orders in the system as needed to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Review & maintenance orders already in the system per customer request
  • Communicate with manufacturing department of order changes
  • Assist internal customers on order updates, pricing inquiries, etc
  • Coordinate & process rush requests
  • Manage shipping details with internal and external customers
  • Resolve & communicate inventory/out of stock issues with orders already within the order process
  • Run critical departmental reports such as; Same Day Ship & Backorders
  • Prepare complete and accurate work including appropriately note accounts as required   
  • Accountable for tracking all requests received in a 4-8 hour (or less) time period
  • Fills in hold slips for other departments when bringing order jackets to office and removing them when order jackets are returned to the appropriate location
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer experience and business performance
  • Always have a contagious positive attitude with your co-workers and our customers
  • All other duties as required

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings
  • 1-3 years in a customer service environment
  • Strong service mindset and demonstrated ability to think quickly and deliver results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency using a computer
  • Must have accuracy in order entry
  • Ability to move quickly through multiple systems to find information and deliver a response based on findings
  • Experience using order management systems such as Oracle & Salesforce preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Previous experience with manufacturing & production highly preferred
