What You'll Do: 
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging resident activities, including crafts, games, music, discussion groups, and special events.
  • Create new programs, outings, and events that reflect residents' interests and preferences.
  • Encourage resident participation and communicate upcoming activities through calendars, newsletters, and other communications.
  • Safely transport and assist residents during community outings, appointments, and special events using the community vehicle.
  • Prepare activity spaces, obtain approved supplies, and ensure activities are organized and well-executed.
  • Complete required activity documentation and collaborate with other departments to provide a positive resident experience.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Follow all community policies related to resident safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Need: 
  • 2 years of assisted senior living required
  • Activity programming, recreation, or related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and assisting residents during activities and transportation.
  • Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings in accordance with state regulations.
