  • Work hours: PRN: On an as needed basis - Weekdays, and 1 weekend per month (minimum), prefer 2 weekends per month, Flexible with hours usually between 8:30AM-5:00PM, schedule varies.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne is a 137-bed, full-service hospital that has served Cleburne and the Johnson County area since 1986. Located about 35 miles south of Fort Worth, hospital services include surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics and ear, nose and throat care. The center has over 80 physicians on its medical staff and has been recognized as a Top Performer for Quality Care in a nationwide performance improvement project, an accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers and designated a Pathway to Excellence庐 hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 This role involves working closely with patients to develop individualized care plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and guide them through their rehabilitation journey in an inpatient setting.



Here鈥檚 What You Need

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program Required

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required And

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly聽Required.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 No experience necessary - wiling to train (Prefer acute care level rotation experience)

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills.

What You Will Do

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home
programs/self-management and assistive equipment.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of patients.
