Position Overview:

Support production equipment and processes to ensure highest level of equipment uptime, efficiency, and quality. This position is 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions

  • Perform routine & planned PM activities on designated production equipment

  • Coordinate with and assist contract service providers in completing complex machine repairs and startups

  • Work cross functionally with other maintenance personnel and departments to support production needs

  • Perform all duties as assigned in compliance with company safety standards


Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate forklift, cranes, power tools, and other hand tools in support of troubleshooting and repair functions

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and other equipment related documentation

  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to clearly communicate, both written and verbally, details of a technical nature related to equipment issues and repair needs

  • Ability to work in a diverse team oriented environment   Education and Experience: Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year or technical school and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
