Job DetailsJob Location: Cleveland Heights Clinic - CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH 44118Salary Range: $27.00 - $32.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayDescription: The Janitorial/Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment across the property or facility. This role combines light maintenance, janitorial duties, and general building support to ensure daily operations run smoothly. Maintain the cleanliness of the lot – sweep, keep it clean of debris, spray down walkways Clean walking surfaces and building entrances Dusting of all offices and clinical areas Cleaning of glass/windows in areas designated by management Cleaning of kitchens/lunchrooms/breakrooms Clean/sanitize surfaces touched by individuals (door handles, elevator buttons, etc.) Sweep, mop and maintain the cleanliness of the hard flooring surfaces Vacuum carpeting areas/rugs/runners Maintain the restrooms with paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Collect and remove trash/waste from receptacles; add new empty bags Anything necessary as determined by office/property management Perform routine inspections of building systems and common areas Complete minor repairs (doors, locks, fixtures, drywall, etc.) Replace light bulbs, air filters, and basic hardware Assist with preventative maintenance tasks QualificationsQualifications: Basic knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning procedures Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment Strong attention to detail and reliability Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and be on feet for extended periods Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Prior experience in maintenance, janitorial, or facilities work OSHA or safety training Basic electrical, plumbing, or HVAC knowledge Requirements: Excellent customer service skills. Self motivated individual. Punctuality and impeccable attendance. Strong communication skills with both professionals and patients from all demographics. Technical skills with required office equipment. Patience and great attention to detail. Completely understand the healthcare privacy laws as outlined in HIPAA. LGBTQIA cultural competency.
