Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain a Wheelchair Van while in compliance with all laws pertaining to the operation of the vehicle while transporting patients  Interact professionally with other health care personnel  Interact professionally with disabled, disadvantaged, sick, and injured persons  Complete daily vehicle inspection and equipment checklist  Cleaning of vehicles (inside and out)  Cleans all equipment following appropriate disinfecting procedures'  Restocks and replace used lines, blankets, and other supplies  Makes careful check of all equipment so that van is ready for the next run  Maintains van in efficient operating condition  Colleting payments and issuing receipts if needed  Secures all passengers in van per the Company Passenger Securement Policy  Responsible for safe loading/unloading of all passengers  Ensures all reports, letter, and documentation are accurate and completed in a timely fashion  Maintain a clean appearance, demonstrating courteous, processional and ethical behavior   Physical Demands: Must be physically able to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment as required to meet the essential job functions of an EMS provider.    Involves bending, sitting, kneeling, moving and lifting patients and equipment   Must be able to drive/ride in ambulance for extended periods of times without issue   Physical agility necessary to lift and move patients safely   Qualifications: Current CPR    Valid driver’s license and good driving record   Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress   Possess good verbal communication skills   High School diploma or GED Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.  At any time with or without notice, duties, responsibilities and activities may evolve.
