Position Available:

• Mechanic
• Starting Salary is between $33.00/hr-35.00/hr based on experience

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services - AC Repair, Air Brakes, Hydraulics, etc.
• Perform mobile repair on trucks and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
• Replacing lights
• Tire replacement (mounted inventory)
• Preventative maintenance / running repair / brakes / suspension

Requirements:

• Experience on heavy trucks, trailers, etc. (diagnostic testing, hydraulics, brakes, diesel engine, etc.)
• MUST be ASE certified or have completed mechanic course
• Must have own tools.
• Welding Experience.
• Ability to repair/diagnose all trailer/chassis/container components
• 1-3 years of Light/Medium/Heavy mechanic experience.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions
