This role includes staff supervision, guidance on complex cases, and active participation in program development, training, and process improvement initiatives.    Job Duties:  Perform a full range of supervisory duties, including interviewing and hiring staff; assigning and prioritizing work; evaluating and managing performance; and leading, coaching, and mentoring team members.  Provide technical assistance and clinical guidance to staff on complex, difficult cases, and advise staff on cases with ethical, clinical, and/or legal implications.  Participate in goal development for the unit, team, and individual team members and ensure program or unit-specific compliance, productivity standards, and goal achievement.  Prepare monthly data and narrative reports to summarize performance metrics, trends, compliance, policy changes, and other relevant updates.  Participation in learning, training staff, and implementing NCQA standards within the ADRC.  Participate in compliance audits and implement quality improvement strategies to ensure continued agency accreditation.  Monitor and evaluate program processes, and guide the recommendation, development, coordination, and implementation of new or revised policies and procedures.  Participate on management teams to address clinical issues, team development, caseload management, referrals, and quality assurance.  Assist with new staff training, identify ongoing training needs for both team and individuals, and develop effective solutions to address them.  Communicate clearly and promptly with staff, the Director, managers, and stakeholders.  Lead and participate in best-practice committees, LEAN projects, and agency-wide initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and stakeholder engagement.  Represent the Agency in presentations to professional and community groups and pursue opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders and community partners.  Accompany staff on home, institutional, and community visits to provide technical assistance and assess service appropriateness and quality as applicable.  Represent the Agency in speaking engagements to professional or community groups, and to look for opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders and community partners  This position's primary duty is to perform work directly related to the successful operation of the Agency.  Accordingly, the employee must exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.  Perform other related duties as assigned by the ADRC Director and Clinical Manager.  Support team engagement and collaboration as directed by leadership.  Follow the Code of Ethics for the applicable profession and practice within the scope of professional licensure.  Qualifications Current licensure as a social worker (LSW, LISW) or registered nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio for clinical supervisor positions.  Bachelor’s degree for non-clinical positions.  Three years prior experience in home care for the elderly, Long Term Services and Supports, home health care, medical social work, geriatrics/gerontology, or other substitute as approved by the Ohio Dept. of Aging.  Preference for at least two years of supervisory experience.  Knowledge of disease processes, community resources, assessment, and case management.  Experience with LEAN process improvement or other process improvement techniques preferred.  Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills with ability to critically think in order to solve complex problems.  Must have intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications the ability to learn and effectively navigate all IT platforms and software programs used within the ADRC.   Ability to lift up to 20 lbs  Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance, and a car available during workdays  May have to be on-call Saturday mornings or weekday evenings when occasional after-hours assessments are being completed by staff.    If you are interested in joining our team of professionals, please click “Apply” and submit your resume.  We look forward to hearing from you!   The Agency is committed to providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all.
