Architect/Project Manager – Commercial/Industrial

Responsibilities:

• Outline project approach and assist with developing fees for project proposals
  
• Lead programming efforts with a focus on customer service
  
• Lead architecture design while working with internal design teams to develop innovative/functional designs
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Identify potential risks and look for alternative strategies to mitigate them
  
• Ensure projects comply with local building codes and zoning regulations
  
• Incorporate best practices
  
• Handle construction administration, contractor questions, and RFI responses
  
• Develop construction documents/specifications for commercial projects (industrial, warehouse, data center or distribution center projects)
  
• Work directly with the client providing timely updates on project status and discussing project scope
  
• Coordinate with internal teams, including project planning, scheduling, and tracking
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  
• 8+ years of commercial architecture
  
• Knowledgeable in code/materials and methods commonly used in the industrial, manufacturing, and distribution center projects
  
• Experience with specification writing
  
• Construction administration experience
  
• Valid Driver’s License is required
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
