About the Role:
Ladneir Healthcare Services LLC is looking for a compassionate and skilled ASL Caregiver to join our dedicated team in Cleveland, OH. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and daily living support to clients using American Sign Language (ASL) as the primary mode of communication
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring
- Facilitate community engagement and social activities for clients
- Monitor and document client health status, behaviors, and progress
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for clients
Requirements:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
- Prior experience in caregiving, personal care, or a related healthcare support role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor with a client-first attitude
