Job DetailsJob Location: Main Office - Cleveland, OH 44114The Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS), as part of the Children Who Witness Violence program (CWWV) provides acute trauma intervention services in the home and community, which includes trauma screening and assessment, Child Family Traumatic Stress Intervention and Trauma Focused -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as practical and emotional support to family members and witnesses of traumatic and/or violent events in the community. CWWV staff partner with law enforcement, hospitals, schools, the Department of Children and Family Services, as well as other community agencies throughout Cuyahoga County. CWWV staff also are trained and participate in community responses to schools and communities after a violent incident.  Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:30pmThis is a non-exempt, union position with a starting wage of $36.05 per hour.  Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, with a minimum of one year professionally supervised work in the delivery of mental health, chemical dependency and/or social services.  Individuals must have either an LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC to be considered. Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record and proof of insurance. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
