People Architects is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Cleveland to hire a Facilities Engineer (Electrical) who will play a critical role in keeping plant operations running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the plant floor—solving problems in real time, improving systems, and making a direct impact on production uptime.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be the go-to electrical expert for the facility, owning both day-to-day reliability and longer-term improvements:
- Maintain and improve plant electrical power distribution, controls, and instrumentation systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls issues to minimize downtime
- Support and lead capital projects from scope through commissioning
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus)
- Develop and drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Update electrical documentation including single-line diagrams and schematics
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Engineering on plant improvements
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and site safety standards
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years in chemical, specialty materials, or industrial manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, and industrial networks.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skills.
