The Finance Analyst supports Performance Coatings Group (PCG) strategic priorities with a primary focus on Finished Goods Obsolescence reduction and SKU rationalization across all PCG divisions. This role is responsible for detailed financial analysis, reporting, and execution support related to FG obsolescence tracking, prevention, and inventory optimization initiatives. Working closely with the Finance Manager, division finance teams, and Enterprise Inventory, the Analyst provides actionable insights, standardized reporting, and analytical support to drive improved inventory health for all PCG.

This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. This position has at least 5% travel.

- Support global Finished Goods obsolescence reduction initiatives through detailed financial analysis, reporting, and ongoing performance tracking.
- Prepare and maintain standardized FG obsolescence dashboards and reports, providing visibility into inventory exposure, trends, and risk areas across PCG divisions.
- Partner with division finance, supply chain, and Enterprise Inventory teams to ensure data accuracy, consistent definitions, and alignment on FG obsolescence metrics.
- Help identify process gaps and inefficiencies in FG obsolescence tracking and reporting, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Support SKU rationalization efforts by providing data analysis, financial impact assessments, and tracking of approved actions.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis, business cases, and presentations related to inventory optimization and PCG strategic initiatives.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong communications skills in both verbal and written form.

- Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies
- Capable of performing financial statement analysis involving sales, cost of goods sold, and SG&A
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions in complex financial situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.).
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher with a focus in Accounting or Finance.
- Must have two (2) years of accounting/finance experience.
- Must have advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook).
- Must be able to travel 5%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a Master's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance or an MBA with a focus in Accounting, Finance
- Have experience in financial planning & analytics or supply chain accounting.
- Have the ability to analyze data, present findings, and offer proposed solutions.
- Have experience with OneStream and Microstrategy
- Have experience implementing and testing new systems
- Have experience with Tableau or related BI tools
- Have experience with OnBase or Business Objects
