Here is how YOU would help benefit the team:   Job Responsibilities: Design custom gearing and enclosed gear units. Perform dimensional layouts. Familiarity with hob tool design. Perform gear geometry and gear rating calculation. Perform bearing life calculation. Utilize AutoCad and ProE software. Prepare drawings and BOM’s for shop. Reverse engineer gearboxes for rebuild Interface with customers and sales staff on design of products. Position:  Design Engineer Reporting to:   Engineering Manager Minimum qualifications include:  Minimum 4 yr Mechanical Engineering Degree. Ability to utilize CAD (2D & 3D)   Preferred qualifications include: Five (5) years design experience Experience in gear design, geometric tolerance, gearbox rebuilds and bearing life calculation.
