Job DetailsJob Location: Main Office - Cleveland, OH 44106Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 SalaryBASIC FUNCTION: With the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, is directly responsible for maintaining all UCP leased and owned locations, their equipment and grounds at a very high level of safety, cleanliness and repair. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.    Manage all aspects of building and property maintenance and repair. Document necessary records of work performed, track material costs and schedule maintenance including cleaning/janitorial services, building remodeling and repair, and installation/upkeep of facilities including mechanical and electrical equipment such as boilers, pumps, air compressors, air conditioning, ventilation equipment, and drinking fountains. 2.    Supervise and train maintenance/custodial staff in the proper use of cleaning equipment and materials. 3.    Develop and assign work schedules for maintenance team. Ensure proper function of work and level of service. Periodically inspect work activities and service areas. 4.    Responsible for maintenance and safety checks for all sidewalks and entryways; parking lot and driveway snow removal; building grounds maintenance; meeting room/event set-up and clean-up; rubbish collection and sanitation; and cleaning and disinfecting contaminants. 5.    Make recommendations for the Agency budget related to facilities, equipment and operations. 6.     Perform safety checks and make necessary repairs to equipment and tools. Maintain furniture and other equipment in good condition. 7.    Travel between agency locations and vendors/suppliers to purchase and/or deliver supplies. 8.    Responsible for maintaining temperature control systems during all operating and non-operating hours. 9.    Oversee facilities including inspections as well as licensure, Medicaid, Medicare, CARF, BWC, and others. 10.    Maintain pool chemicals and all equipment pumps, filters, heater, and ozone system. 11.    Make minor repairs to clients’ wheelchairs as requested and maintain preventive maintenance records. Prepare written reports of major problems or repairs. 12.    Assume responsibility for receiving, checking, storing, and inventorying custodial supplies. Order supplies from approved vendors and maintain SDS documentation. 13.    Responsible for maintenance of agency vehicles including detailing, minor repairs, and dealer servicing. 14.    Maintain fire alarm and sprinkler systems with compliant inspection schedules. 15.    Maintain records and conduct safety inspections, drills, and emergency preparedness activities. 16.    Perform quarterly building safety walk-through inspections. 17.    Build and assemble office furniture, equipment, and work areas as needed. 18.    Available to respond to off-hours emergencies. 19.    Perform other duties associated with custodial and maintenance services.   QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Combination of education and experience normally represented by high school diploma. A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience within the various trades including supervisory duties and custodial or related maintenance work experience. Must have a working knowledge of HVAC. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license with two (2) or less moving violations. Physical ability to perform the functions of the position, including lifting more than 50 pounds, climbing ladders and moving throughout the building.
