About the Opportunity:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. Working closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams, this role develops maintenance work plans, coordinates labor and materials, and utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to drive preventive maintenance, improve work execution, and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Develop maintenance work plans, including labor, materials, tools, parts, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with operations to support production priorities and planned outages.
- Manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment records within the CMMS.
- Monitor maintenance performance, analyze data, and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and inventory teams to ensure resources and parts are available for scheduled work.
- Support CMMS administration by maintaining system data, generating reports, and assisting with user training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure maintenance activities and documentation comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience.
- 3–5 years of maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing, forging, machining, or metals manufacturing.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory management and spare parts planning.
- Experience analyzing maintenance KPIs and equipment reliability metrics.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint, MicroMain, or similar).
- Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and move throughout a manufacturing and office environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Regular exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving machinery, elevated noise levels, heat, metalworking fluids, and other conditions typical of a forging and manufacturing environment.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes, is required when working in designated production areas.
- Ability to spend time on the manufacturing floor assessing equipment, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting maintenance and production operations.
- Occasional evening, weekend, or off-shift work may be required to support planned maintenance, equipment outages, shutdowns, or emergency maintenance activities.
- Occasional travel may be required to support training or collaboration with other Pursuit Aerospace facilities.
