Position Summary

The University Hospitals Art Collection Dept is seeking a Part-Time intern interested in working closely with the Art Curator and Collections Registrar. This Department Assistant position will assist with current and upcoming departmental projects, installations, and exhibitions. This unique opportunity provides in depth training and exposure to the multi-faceted duties associated with the UH fine art collection.

Interested candidates should be seeking varied working experience in a fast paced, multi project, Fine Art Collection department. Interns must be highly motivated and able to work independently and accurately and be comfortable interacting with the public

Required For All Jobs

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.


Qualifications

Full-Time Student entering their Junior or Senior year at an accredited university and pursuing a BFA or MFA degree preferred. Graduate students also encouraged to apply. 

Prefer Art History or Fine Art Major

Excellent computer skills are preferred, especially in PowerPoint and Word.
