Plant Electrical Engineer

People Architects is excited to hire an Plant Electrical Engineer for an on-site role in Clevlenad, Ohio for one of our manufacturing clients.

Want to make a real impact in specialty materials manufacturing? Join our Cleveland team as an Plant Electrical Engineer and take ownership of plant power systems, controls, and instrumentation that keep production running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, maintain, and improve low- & medium-voltage electrical systems and control panels.
• Program and support PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs to optimize production.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control issues, minimizing downtime.
• Lead capital projects, upgrades, and new process integrations.
• Implement preventive maintenance strategies and ensure safety & code compliance.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in chemical, specialty materials, or industrial manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, and industrial networks.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skills.
