What you will do:

The Product Specialist is a technical expert who plays a critical role in supporting QXO’s building materials product portfolio and driving commercial success. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Product Management, and vendor partners to provide technical guidance, support project preparation, and ensure accurate product information is delivered to customers and contractors.

 

  • Provide product and system guidance to Sales teams and contractors, serving as a resource for technical questions and product inquiries.

  • Support Product Managers in preparing takeoffs, quotes, proposals, and related project documentation.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge across assigned window product categories, including features, benefits, and applications.

  • Track and communicate product performance trends, availability updates, and pricing issues to relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist with new product launches, sales enablement efforts, training sessions, and updates to product collateral or resources.

  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain product information, clarifications, and technical details.

  • Escalate complex technical or application questions to Product Managers or senior technical resources as appropriate.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product Management teams to support project execution and customer satisfaction 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong interest in developing technical expertise within roofing products and systems.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support both internal teams and external customers.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.

  • Ability to interpret basic technical documentation and product specifications (preferred).
