VGS is a highly acclaimed, successful, private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) vocational rehabilitation agency with over 135 years of dedicated experience serving persons with disabilities or other barriers to employment. We are currently seeking to hire a Rehabilitation Specialist to assist individuals referred from CCBDD and Medicaid funding sources to meet their basic living skills goals. The Rehabilitation Specialist will be responsible for performing the following duties. SUMMARY Ensures that all operations of manufacturing projects at two Cleveland locations are performed in the highest quality and most efficient manner possible.  Responsible for directing and assisting in the marketing of all Cleveland industrial and manufacturing services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures that all Cleveland Contract Shop orders are delivered on time and to customer specifications.  Develops, implements and maintains proper procedures and controls to effectively carry out the following prioritized systems: Fiscal (i.e. shop order, purchasing, budgets, etc.) Operations (i.e. safety, production and quality control, marketing and sales, shipping/receiving). Assists with billings to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Responsible for assisting with Cleveland Contract Shop budgets and operates contract shops that are consistent with department budgets. Ensures that all records include, but not limited to; time study forms, quotes, production reports, timecards, shipping/receiving records, shop orders, invoices, quality control records, etc. are completed and kept in an accurate, timely and organized fashion.  Responsible for operating contract shops in accordance with ISO. Performs time studies, job set-up and job direction and present time studies and quotes to the Director of Operations for approval. Confer with customers and company officials to resolve complaints.  Troubleshoot potential problems. Maintain customer liaison for any problems encountered. Maintain regular contracts with all existing customers and constantly strive to land more. Assists in marketing all industrial services and for handling customer relations and assessments of their needs. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Check on competitive activity and develop new methods to attain new accounts. Call on prospects to explain features of services, cost and advantages. Market and sell contract shop, custodial services, and additional agency programs.  Maintain marketing leads and contact data and expand through ongoing marketing efforts.  Supervise a Driver and Floor Coordinator. Participate in approving payroll, hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary, terminations, etc.  Qualifications Bachelor's degree (A. A.) from a four-year college or university and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience would include production, operations, engineering or sales that include line management responsibilities. Three years experience in production, operations or engineering may be substituted for each year of required education beyond the high school level. Ability to assist with budgetary responsibilities for two or more performance or cost centers including budget preparation, monitoring and corrective action. Computer skills in the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and QuickBooks. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and tolerate an environment with background noise.  Must have an active driver's license and pass requirements to drive agency vehicles as needed.
