Role Summary

The Senior Accountant supports accurate, timely financial reporting and sound controls so programs and services are backed by reliable data. Key responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger, preparing monthly close entries and reconciliations, supporting audits, assisting with budget-to-actual reporting, and helping strengthen accounting procedures.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
- High attention to detail, discretion, and clear communication

A Typical Workday

You'll start by reviewing the day's priorities, then shift into focused work blocks for analysis and documentation. Later in the day, you'll respond to questions that come in from across the organization and wrap up by confirming what's ready for the next close milestone.
