About the Role:
As a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA), you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, hands-on care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to provide non-invasive bedside support, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of every patient you serve. This role is essential to maintaining a healing environment and upholding our organization’s core values in every interaction.

This position is ideal for a dedicated caregiver who thrives in a fast-paced inpatient hospital setting. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on patient-centered care, with opportunities to make a meaningful impact every day. Position Highlights at a Glance:

Caseload: ~7 patients
Average Patient Length of Stay: 10–14 days
Conditions: Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, ortho, complex medical, and more
Team Approach: Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more
Deliver basic patient care: bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming
12-hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay)

✔️ What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Current state CNA certification (State of WI)
CPR required | ACLS & BLS preferred
2+ years of experience in inpatient hospital setting (rehab experience preferred)

Physical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift:

A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods.
Both gross and precise motor functions.
Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
