SCOPEÂ OFÂ RESPONSIBILITY:Â
SPECIFICÂ DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:Â
o  Travel to businesses on a daily basis as scheduled
o  Perform consultations with customers
o  Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods
o  Install new heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems
o  Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
o  Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
o  Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
o  Troubleshoot current HVAC and refrigeration system issues
o  Repair damaged HVAC and refrigeration systems
o  Keep records of customer appointments and payment transactions including invoices
o  Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources

BASICÂ QUALIFICIATIONS:Â Â
o  3-5 years of experience preferred
o  Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
o  Certification or associate degree from an HVAC program at a technical school required
o  Previous on the job training a plus
o  Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand
o  Critical-thinker, problem-solver
o  Must hold state driver’s license
o  Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
o  Regularly required to stand; walk; climb; carry; bend; kneel; reach; push; pull and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsÂ
o  Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevationsÂ
Ability to work in various weather conditionsÂ
