Are you passionate about helping people feel welcomed, supported, and cared for? Care Alliance Health Center is looking for a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our team and serve as one of the first points of contact for our patients.

As a PSR, you will play an important role in helping patients access the care they need while creating a positive, respectful, and patient-centered experience from the moment they arrive or call.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support front desk operations, patient registration, scheduling, and daily clinic workflows. You will work closely with patients, families, clinical teams, and administrative staff to help ensure services are delivered efficiently and with compassion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and checking in patients in a professional and welcoming mannerÂ
- Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance informationÂ
- Registering new patients and ensuring required documentation is completedÂ
- Scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling appointmentsÂ
- Answering patient questions by phone and in personÂ
- Helping manage patient flow and supporting a positive clinic experienceÂ
- Collecting co-pays and processing payments as neededÂ
- Maintaining accurate information in the electronic health record systemÂ
- Supporting administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and record managementÂ
- Protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA requirementsÂ
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to support daily operations

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GEDÂ
- At least one year of customer service or front desk experience, preferably in healthcareÂ
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinic workflowsÂ
- Familiarity with co-pay collectionÂ
- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using electronic health records, preferably Epic
