As an Applications Spray Technician, Weekday Nights, you will interact daily within a Painting Process Laboratory using Paint Application Equipment & Automation tools. You will ensure the safe operation of Applications Spray Equipment and Chemical Handling necessary. You will report to the Applications Supervisor and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.

*This shift is Tuesday through Friday from 7pm to 5:30am.*

NO prior experience necessary / paid training / Physically demanding position

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and set equipment parameters per standard documentation

  • Use computers to operate equipment, capture process settings and record results

  • Understand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately

  • Spray and test samples of paint from production and development

  • Complete the spray experiments using Robotic Equipment

  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and complete assigned safety training

  • Keep the lab clean and performing daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled 5S tasks

  • Data entry into the Application log

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, with chemistry and algebra knowledge preferred; some college chemistry and math are desirable

  • Understand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately is required; the Applications Tech must be observant and accurate

  • Must be able to handle physically demanding position

  • Digitally literate

The base salary for this position is ​$42,000.
