Job DetailsJob Location: Cleveland, Ohio - Cleveland, OH 44102Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $61,000.00 SalaryJob Category: Admin - ClericalThe Senior Sourcing Specialist helps make the sourcing process more efficient by building relationships with suppliers, negotiating costs leading to more profitability across the organization, and keeping abreast of market trends. The Senior Sourcing Specialist will source products for quotation purposes for Sales Associates and employees across the organization as needed. This role would be working in our Cleveland, OH sales hub. Hybrid options available depending upon experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plans and engages in daily sourcing responsibilities, as primary function to provide niche expertise to Sales Team. Build relationships with new and existing vendors and key suppliers. Initiates contact with Vendors and distributors in a timely manner, to meet timelines for client proposals. Identify pricing strategies, margin control, and help mitigate customer loss to maximize profits. Negotiates pricing and costs. Supports and collaborates with sales Associates and others to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities and influence current non patriot vendors to collaborate with ASB vendor relations. Keeps abreast of industry and market trends and best practices. Works with Sales Leadership to identify customer needs and create customer proposals. Complete other duties as assigned. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, purchase orders, vouchers and invoices. Must be able to effectively write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers, fellow employees, management and Sales Associates of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
