General Responsibilities: 

The Inside Sales Representative maintains positive relationships between OEM customers and GW Lisk; acting as the primary point of contact for all day to day inquiries and activities. He/She will own the customer deliverable, executing actions that often involve cross functional teams.  The ideal candidate will possess, among other skills, the ability to multitask, meet aggressive deadlines, operate in a high stress environment, manage time effectively, and identify areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a high level of energy, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent negotiation skills and a drive to win.

Specific Duties:

  • Communicates customer expectations and assists with team efforts to meet commercial requirements
  • Maintains and improves relationships with clients by providing support, information, and punctual responses to customer requests
  • Works with Sales and/or Product Management to provide customer quotations
  • Identifies opportunities for bottom line growth such as price increases or process improvements 
  • Works closely with Order Processing to ensure timely and accurate customer  demand recognition
  • Daily interaction with Production, Engineering, and Quality to suffice commercial requirements
  • Communicates contractual agreements relative to everyday actions and requests
  • Interfaces with customer web portals and participates in weekly production meetings
  • Working knowledge of non-disclosure (NDA) and long term agreements (LTA)
  • Facilitates Service/Replacement Order process for all GW Lisk products
  • Ensures accuracy of customer’s OTD & DPPM metrics and escalates concerns appropriately
  • Knowledge and involvement with on-going projects relative to all customer accounts
  • Proactively supports Sales Manager in the development of new customer accounts
  • Reviews terms and conditions, pricing, and other commercial details on purchase orders
  • Contributes to inquiry list for new and prospective customers
  • Assists accounts receivable in recovering past due invoices
  • Assists with data mining and reporting general customer account information
  • Strives to maximize profitability at all times and willing to go above and beyond

Qualifications 

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in Sales or Customer Service
  • Negotiation skills 
  • A commitment to total customer satisfaction is required
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and Infor/Syteline ERP system a plus
  • Related experience in manufacturing industry is preferred

  • Understanding of supply chain constraints

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 annual base salary based experience
