Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience + 15% shift differential 

Hours: Need to train on 1st shift for two weeks, Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. After training period, will move to 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am. 


Overview: 

Primary duties: Responsible for dispatching correct tooling and materials to all departments as requested and place orders as inventory is depleted.  Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment.  Manage tool crib physical inventory accuracy, maintain database integrity. 

 

Responsibilities:

Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in manufacturing environment: Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of issues and returns using computer database.     Must accurately and efficiently utilize PC Toolcrib and Syteline.

Responsible for maintenance of inventory and their storage areas, by cleaning and organizing as required and performing weekly cycle counts.  Prepare tool kits for machining as needed.  Work closely with other departments to determine tooling and material requirements. Order tooling as necessary, monitor and update inventory.  Designate locations for new tooling.  Responsible for the exercise of proper care in handling of tools: reporting obvious need of repair or replacement to superior.  Handle routine problems in tool crib: searching for missing tools, gauges, prints, etc.  Run reports as needed.  Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma 

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

 Required:

  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent attendance
  • Customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skill, including database experience, Word, and Excel. PC Toolcrib and Syteline are a plus.

 

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Able to read simple drawings:  use scale, calipers and simple measuring instruments. 

Tooling experience; identification of tool types.


Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience + 15% shift differential
