Job Description:

Experienced Network Administrator responsible for maintaining and optimizing our secure network infrastructure. Responsibilities will include configuring network equipment, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring network security. The person in this position must be able to communicate technical concerns and solutions to varying levels of management and program engineering teams and is also responsible for leading IT projects at the local level.

Essential Functions:

Configure and deploy network solutions based on business requirements.
Respond to support tickets & interface with users
Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Maintain equipment, inventory, IP schemas and network diagrams
Implement security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
Monitor and Tune system performance
Support ICD 503 Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF) processes by patching, hardening, and/or upgrading systems as appropriate.
Ability to travel between L3Harris Facilities inside the Rochester, NY area. Additional travel may be required.
Current/Active Secret Security clearance (minimum) with an ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI poly clearance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Network LAN/WAN administration with a minimum of 3 years of experience
Current/Active Secret Security clearance
CompTIA Security + CE Certification.

Preferred Additional Skills:

CCNA, PCNSA or Network +.
Experience with DOD encryption devices.
Self-motivated, able to switch tasks easily, and work independently.
Strong troubleshooting skills.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $70,500- $130,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
