Title: Site Supervisor of Before & After School ProgramÂ
Supervisor: Program Director of School Based ClubsÂ
Site Location: Elementary School, Clifton, NJ 07011Â
Exempt/Nonexempt: Part Time, Non-ExemptÂ
Position Overview:Â
Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator and the Director of School-Based Clubs, the Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation and effectiveness of assigned Schools’ Out (Before & After School) program sites within Clifton Schools. This position ensures the health, safety, and well-being of members and site staff while overseeing high quality program implementation, staff supervision, and compliance with organizational, school district and New jersey State licensing requirements. The Site Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton by fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for youth development. Â
Program & Site Operations:Â
- Oversee the daily operations of the Before & After School program site. Â
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all members and staff. Â
- Conduct required monthly safety drills in accordance with NJ State Licensing regulations. Â
- Ensure the site is staffed appropriately at all times and remains fully compliant with licensing and organizational standards. Â
Staff Supervision & Leadership:Â
- Supervise, guide, and support site staff to ensure high-quality program delivery. Â
- Serve as a positive role model for staff and members. Â
- Hold monthly staff meetings to review expectations, address concerns, and support professional development. Â
- Adhere to and enforce Club Personnel Policies, Practices, and Discipline Policies. Â
Administrative Duties:Â
- Maintain accurate site records, including attendance, accident/incident reports, program applications, and payment documentation. Â
- Perform basic administrative tasks related to program operations. Â
- Pick up and manage program supplies and equipment as needed. Â
Communication & CollaborationÂ
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents/guardians, school personnel, and Club administration. Â
- Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and conferences to support program improvement. Â
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator, Program Director, or Administration. Â
Physical Demands:Â
- Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and attending meetings/trainings. Â
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Â
- Must be able to respond promptly to program needsÂ
QualificationsÂ
Required:Â
- First Aid, CPR, and Safety Certification (trainings provided if necessary).Â
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead staff. Â
- Ability to set, track, and achieve program and site goals. Â
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with staff, parents, and youth. Â
- Ability to perform basic administrative organizational duties. Â
Schedule:Â
Monday - Friday Â
Before Care – 7:05 AM – 9 AMÂ
After Care – 3 PM - 6PMÂ
Compensation: $18 - $25 an hour (commensurate with experience)Â
