- Routine delivery (Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section)
- Complicated delivery (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's)
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
- Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's, Laser certification)
- Low risk pregnancy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC required (Certified)
- Licenses: Active NC License, NC DEA, NC Medicaid Credential
- DEA: NC DEA required
- Experience: Actively delivering babies with case logs from past 12-24 months
- Other Qualifications: Fully vaccinated, no recent malpractice cases, and PECOS enrolled
- Round on patients daily
- Perform emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
- Perform emergent GYN procedures (e.g., ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal)
- Manage high-risk deliveries and arrange transfers to higher-level NICU if needed
- Provide on-call coverage via cell phone with 20-minute response time
