Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Rover in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with professionalism. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing integrity, reliability, and adaptability to every shift.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support movement control procedures for staff, approved visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site rules.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and assist with security-related investigations and follow-up reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
