Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. This armed driving post requires a valid driver's license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach while helping maintain an orderly environment.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and document entry and exit activity in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and follow established procedures for incidents, inspections, and the handling of restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
