Job DetailsJob Location: CLINTON, NY 13323Salary Range: $18.65 - $18.65 HourlyJob Shift: AnyPosition Scope:   The Active Day Aid is responsible for assisting the Program Coordinator with daily activities, field trips, serving meals and supervising Active Day members.   Responsibilities:   Transports members to and from Active Day Program and activities in the community.   Supervises and directs the member activities under the supervision of the Active Day Program Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator.   Ensure an activity assessment is completed for each new member within a week of their start date.   Assist members with toileting.   Record daily attendance and meal count and SNH attendance.   Ensure OFA sheets are filled out and signed daily.   Ensure activity participation sheets are completed daily and turned in no later than the 3rd of the month.   Reports to Program Coordinator any observed changes in participants physical or behavioral condition.     Maintains Active Day area to keep neat, clean and orderly.   Supervises participants with their self-administration of medication.   Attends required in-service programs, all safety related in-service programs required by OSHA and adheres to the requirement of the LCCN Safety Programs   Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsQualifications/Education/Experience: High School Diploma Experience with older adults desired. Valid and clean New York State Driver’s’ License. Skills in recreations programs, music, crafts and social interaction
