People Incorporated of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Cook for the Dickenson County Day Care Center and Glade Spring Head Start Center. This is a full time position.  Position prepares nutritious daily meals to children and staff in accordance with USDA, state and Head Start regulations.  Orders food from approved vendors, conducts inventory, ensures food safety and kitchen sanitation, conducts data entry and completes required documentation.  ServSafe certification required within three (3) months of hire is required.  One year experience in safe handling and preparation of food and sanitization maintenance of a kitchen preferred.
