As a Foreman at EnerVest, you will supervise a crew of field employees and/or contract staff and direct day‐to‐day activities. Areas of supervision may include field, construction, pipeline operation, artificial lift, compression, gas measurement, or a combination of the aforementioned.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of daily activity reports, production rates, artificial lift, chemical treatment program, and ongoing projects to ensure effective and economic production of oil and natural gas wells.
- Monitor monthly LOE and generate ideas to reduce operating costs.
- Designs operator routes and preventive maintenance schedules for all assigned employees and contractors.
- Responsible for establishing and executing daily priorities for assigned area through the management of Company employees and coordination of contractors.
- Ensures all environmental and safety compliance issues are met.
- Responsible for fostering a team environment focused on learning and continuous improvement.
- Reports directly to the respective Senior Foreman.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to operate a computer
- Prior experience leading a team preferred
Working Conditions and Requirements:
- Position will require working in conditions of extreme heat and cold, high noise levels, poor ventilation, and fumes and gases that will require personal protective equipment and training. Employee will be required to safely operate a motor vehicle, day or night, and at times under adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to negotiate ladders, stairs and terrain with varying grades.
- Must be physically fit to lift 50 pounds from pick-up bed.
- Must be able to operate company vehicles and lease equipment such as compressors, pumps and generators for 8-12 hours per day.
- Office work environment 50-100%.
